For families
with children ages newborn - 7 years. The curriculum is designed to
apply musical and developmental learning in a multi-age, multi-child,
family environment. This is a great way for parents with children
of various ages to spend time together, doing one activity as a family. |

family): $150 -- a 100% sibling discount is applied at the end
of the online registration process.

Ages newborn -18 months
(lap babies, crawlers & walkers) with a parent or caregiver. Classes
feature activities appropriate for the diverse developmental stages
of the first 18 months of life, nurture the bond between parent
and child, and support parent-to-parent interaction, in the context
of a music-making community.

Ages 1½ -
3 years with a parent or caregiver. Classes provide an introduction
to music through singing, movement, and playing of instruments,
as well as quality adult/child interaction.

Ages 3 - 5
years; parent or caregiver joins the class each week during the last
ten minutes. Classes nurture a love of music through singing, listening,
creative movement, and exploration of rhythm, melody, and instruments. |

Ages 4½-6
years for Young Child 1 and 2, 5-7 for Young Child 3 and 4; parent
or caregiver attends the final 10-15 minutes of class. Over four
sequential semesters, children learn symbols and vocabulary of music
making, play glockenspiel, dulcimer, and recorder, begin to read
music, experience ensemble playing, and create musical compositions.
Young Child 1 and 3 are
offered in the fall semester. Young Child 2 and 4 are offered in
the spring.
